Problems getting diabetes medication

December 8, 2023
I have been experiencing difficulties getting my prescriptions, and I have not been getting them on time. I have not had a face to face diabetes check for well over 6 months.

Took me 5 days to get an appointment

November 24, 2023
I knew that I had an infection and despite stressing this to the receptionists, I could not get an appointment. After 5 days of calling I was finally offered an appointment, but not at the surgery at Bosworth Medical Centre. I took the appointment and was just glad that I was going to be seen.

Excellent Nurses

November 24, 2023
I had a serious skin infection caused by a long term condition. It had to be dressed and changed every 3 days. The nurses were excellent. They were concerned that the infection was not improving and called the doctor in to see me. The doctor was also concerned and sent me to the hospital.

Reception triage is intrusive!

November 24, 2023
I really struggle to get appointments and I find the receptionist 'triage' service very intrusive. I was referred 12 months ago but I have not heard anything since. The surgery are better with giving children's appointments and I do not find that such a problem.

They have improved since the pandemic

November 21, 2023
The surgery has been improving since the covid pandemic. The appointment system is better now and it is good to be offered telephone or face to face appointments.

The receptionists are terrible!

November 21, 2023
The receptionists are terrible, they are inconsiderate, and think that they know everything. One particular doctor is very good, particularly with my disabled child.

My concerns were dismissed for 5 years

November 21, 2023
The surgery refused to help me for 5 years. My concerns about pain and fatigue were dismissed and I was told it was caused by hormones due to being a young parent. I ended up being admitted to hospital where I was told that I had a rare condition. They told me that this condition had been showing up in my blood tests for years. I am not happy that the doctors surgery continually dismissed my concerns and failed to act upon the blood test results, and that if I had not ended up in hospital I would still not know and would be suffering still.

November 16, 2023
I was referred by my GP to Croft Medical Centre to see a physiotherapist. The appointment went well and I found it very beneficial.

Like talking to a brick wall!

November 3, 2023
I can never get an appointment. The staff do not listen and do not seem to care. It's like talking to a brick wall. What are they trained in? Being rude and annoying? Awful surgery.
