Not happy with doctor I spoke to

I recently had a phone call with a doctor about my medication and wanted to discuss pain I was having in my hands at the same time. The doctor told me that he was not calling for a lengthy conversation. I was not happy with the manners of this doctor. Some of the doctors here are very good but it's hard to speak with or get appointments with them.
Nurses have been wonderful

I have been visiting for dressing changes and the nurses have been wonderful. Dressing and packing the wound is very painful and they have been very kind and reassuring throughout.
Unhelpful receptionists

An awful service. Receptionists just do not want to help. I am constantly told phone back tomorrow. They are not helpful at all, and accessing the doctor is impossible.
Inconsistent online system

Everything is done online at this point and success with booking through this system is very inconsistent. I wish things could just be organised through the old system again.
Difficulty organising medication reviews

I struggle to get medication reviews organised. It is like banging your head against a wall trying to get things booked in.
Felt like they didn\'t want to examine me

During a recent visit I found the doctor to be hard to understand, rude and they seemed very nervous. I made a complaint about this as it didn't feel like they wanted to examine me.
No confidence in triage staff

There is an overreliance on triage staff who are not doctors, I have seen them a number of times and have been misdiagnosed so I have no confidence in them. I recently spoke to them about a cyst on my back and after eventually getting to speak to a doctor I was referred to UHB but I haven't heard anything since.
Difficult to get appointments around work

No extra appointments are provided for people who work. You used to be able to get appointments after 6pm but they don't offer this anymore. If the doctor wants to see you in 2 weeks you are also not able to pre book an appointment at that stage which is very frustrating.
Difficulty booking appointments on the phone

When trying to book appointments over the phone you have to listen to a load of rubbish and wait for a long time. There is a button to request a call back but they only call once and if you miss it you need to start the whole process over again.
Difficult to get appointments

It is a struggle to get appointments here and the reception staff are not the most helpful.
