Attended but they had cancelled appointment

I attended Croft Medical Centre for a pre-arranged appointment. When I arrived they told me that my appointment had been cancelled. I asked why and they told me that it was in their system that I had cancelled it. I argued with them that I definitely had not cancelled it but they would not let me see a doctor. I was not happy at all. I later received a telephone call from the surgery and they apologised and admitted that it was their error not mine. A very poor experience, but I am grateful that they admitted their error.
Awful surgery and difficult to get appointments

My experience with this service has been awful. I have been unable to get an appointment and they will not provide home visits.
The district nurse was very kind and caring

The district nurse was very kind and caring when I recently visited for leg dressing. They also contacted NHS 111 on my behalf to help me access further medical assistance.
The staff are always nice

I have been a patient of Croft Medical Centre for 4 years but only see a nurse for blood pressure checks. I recently received a letter providing an appointment for my annual medical check up. Everything has always gone okay and the staff have been nice.
Terrible service, can't get appointments

My experience with Croft has been terrible I have been unable to get an appointment and they have not provided a home visit despite my age.

Getting face to face appointments are impossible. No on line appointments, can't book appointments at surgery. Very rarely a. doctor you see Cannot get future appointments. Everyone is trying to book appointments by phone which doesn't work. My granddaughter needs a face to face and even though was told she needed one by a doctor, three months later she still hasn't been seen. They tell us to phone 111 when it's a problem they can't deal with. I'm actually disgusted with this practice and actually don't believe anything will be done about them.

I found the surgery very good, the only problem was the communication between the hospital and the surgery which hindered my ongoing treatment and continuity of care.
Without medication for two weeks

I was prescribed medication but only given two weeks supply. The doctor said we had to review it after two weeks before they would prescribe more. When the medication ran out I was unable to get an appointment for another two weeks. I explained the circumstances to the receptionists but they were unhelpful. It took me two weeks to get an appointment for more medication, leaving me in extreme pain.
Repeat prescription service made complex

When you have more than one medication on repeat the process is very complex. Different medications are due at different times meaning that I have to go back and forth all the time to request and collect medication. I do not understand why they cannot make the medications align for the ease of their patients. It is an absolute nightmare.
I find the surgery really good

The surgery has been really good in helping me during my recovering from a serious accident. I have no complaints.
