Croft Medical Centre

I find it difficult to get appointments and I don't like to be a nuisance. I feel that my health concerns are put down to my age. It's very frustrating and I just do not bother.

I find Croft Medical centre okay. I can generally get an appointment when I really need one. You are now triaged first on the telephone and then asked to come in for an appointment if they think its necessary.

The appointment system has improved drastically. When you call in there is an option have them hold your place in the queue and they call you back when you are number 1 in the queue. I was called back within 20 minutes and explained the issues to a friendly receptionist. She told me that someone from triage would call me back. I was called back a short while later and told that the doctor would be calling and would assess whether the problems could be resolved or if they needed to do a home visit for my elderly parent. The doctor called within the hour, she was very thorough, listened to my concerns and prescribed adequate treatment. I was satisfied with access, quality of treatment and the polite and friendly service provided by staff at the surgery.

I have been visiting this surgery throughout my pregnancy. The maternity care has been good and I am happy with the service provided.

I have found the surgery okay it can be hard to get appointments, but they are very good with children and I never have any problems getting them an appointment if they need one. The problems I have experienced have been getting repeat prescriptions.

My experience of Croft Medical Centre has been very good. I am diabetic and I find that they are very helpful and understanding. Whenever I need appointments I always manage to get in quite quickly. I recently contacted them due to a foot problem. I was seen very quickly and treated. The nurses are also great I have been having to attend regularly for dressing changes. Appointments are pre-booked, the nurses are great and the waiting times so far have been good.

The surgery has been very good in helping me manage my diabetes. I see the nurse regularly but if I ever have any related problems the GP is very good too. I never struggle to get an appointment when I need one.

I had to wait 2 weeks to see a doctor. I was happy with the outcome once I saw the doctor. The surgery is nice and new, bright and clean. It does not seem like they do much there. The surgery is always empty.

The care I have received from this service has been excellent.

This service is awful. I can never get an appointment and the staff are very abrupt and unhelpful. I am scared to make a complaint because they are so argumentative and threaten to kick you off their patient list.
