I phoned for a friend who was unwell and had been experiencing difficulties getting through. I spoke to the doctor on their behalf and was told that it sounded like they had a urine infection. I explained that they did not have a high temperature or any other symptoms of a urine infection but the doctor said that they would send a prescription to the pharmacy just in case. I do not understand why they would prescribe medication without properly diagnosing a patient. Why did the not request a urine sample for testing? I think the service needs to improve.

My experience has been bad. I cannot get an appointment despite phoning up when the phone lines open. If you are lucky enough to get through all the appointments have been taken and you are told to phone again tomorrow.

I was given an emergency appointment very quickly. I saw a doctor who was very helpful and polite, and my problem was sorted. I was very happy with the service I received.

I just can't get an appointment. The staff are not friendly or helpful, they just do not care.

I cannot get an appointment. When you call up, and your lucky enough to actually get through, your told that all appointments are taken and to call back the next day. When you call back the next day the same thing happens. When you try and explain to the reception staff how your calling daily, they basically tell you that its tough. The staff do not care about their patients. The doctors are too busy off doing private work.

It's hard to get an appointment. When you do manage to book in you see different doctors every time and my experience varies depending on who I see. Some of the doctors very good but there are some who do not quite meet my needs.

I went to the doctor for advice about symptoms I was experiencing following an operation. I was seen by a nurse practitioner who told me to look online. They were absolutely useless.

I attended the surgery to get a doctors appointment, I was unwell and I knew from my medical training that I needed antibiotics for a chest infection. The receptionist was extremely unhelpful and told me to go to the pharmacy for treatment. I refused and told her I needed to see a doctor. After some discussion they found me an appointment for two hours later. As I suspected I did have a chest infection and needed antibiotics. I have no complaints about the doctor I saw who was very good.

It's near on impossible to get through on the phone to book an appointment, the lines are always busy. If you do manage to get through all the appointments are gone. I have been unable to get a face to face appointment since covid and I am only ever offered a telephone consultation. They are no better when a child needs to see a doctor.

I called for an appointment to discuss dementia with my GP. Was pleasantly surprised to be offered a same day appointment. The doctor was very nice and spent a lot of time talking to me about my symptoms and concerns. I was very happy with the service.
