Repeat prescription service made complex

When you have more than one medication on repeat the process is very complex. Different medications are due at different times meaning that I have to go back and forth all the time to request and collect medication. I do not understand why they cannot make the medications align for the ease of their patients. It is an absolute nightmare.
I find the surgery really good

The surgery has been really good in helping me during my recovering from a serious accident. I have no complaints.

The doctors have been amazing with quick referrals made, and good follow on care from hospital stays and cancer treatment. The receptionists are kind and helpful.
A good surgery with appointment availability

My experience of the surgery is good. I receive text messages to book an appointment when I need blood tests. I always manage to get an appointment, and they go well. I do find it easier to book appointments in person.
I have completely given up

I have not been able to see a doctor since before the covid pandemic. I have only been seen by nurses to have injections. It is so impossible to see a doctor I have completely given up, I just try to manage on my own.
Two week wait but excellent doctor

I managed to book an appointment, but had to wait two weeks for it. The doctor was excellent, I was able to discuss more than one problem, and the doctor was very caring. I was thoroughly examined and prescribed medication for me.
It's difficult to get an appointment

Trying to get an appointment is a bit 'hit and miss'. To me it seems like its down to luck. I have been unable to get appointments for my children when they have needed to see a GP and I have had to use 111 instead.
No consideration for severe anxiety

I cannot book an appointment for Covid and/or flu jabs at the surgery and have been told that I can only book an appointment at Bosworth Medical Centre. I have requested a home visit for them, but this cannot be accommodated because I am not bed bound. I am over 80 and I suffer from severe anxiety, and I am unable to get to appointments without assistance (which I do not have). Bosworth Medical Centre is not local to me and I cannot get there alone. I would find queuing in a busy setting very difficult. I have been registered at the practice for over two years and I have never been able to get an appointment with a doctor. I have had a yearly check up with the nurses there. I wish that was more consideration for patients like myself, they just do not seem to care.
Everything is done over the phone now

I never get to see a doctor, appointments are all via the telephone now. I have not had a medication review since April 2022. I have been called in for a diabetic check every 6 months but all they do is weigh me, and not much else. They just don't seem interested or like they care when you call up and try to explain your situation to them and why you want to see a doctor face to face.
Long waiting times & always items missing

When the prescription is electronically sent by the GP you are told to leave it 48 hours and that it will be ready for you. When I go to pick up the prescription, it is never ready and waiting for me. The electronic system seems absolutely pointless! You have to queue at the door to even get in there, its that busy and slow. Then once you give your name you wait at least 30 minutes for them to get it ready for you. They never give me a full prescription there are always items out of stock that need ordering in, which means that I have to return 24 to 48 hours later and queue again. These delays have meant that I am late getting my medication. The service is awful.
