Absolutely fantastic care in the ICU

I stayed in the ICU for 8 days. The care I received was absolutely fantastic. The staff were very attentive and provided a high standard of care.

Staff too busy to meet needs

I was taken to this hospital for treatment for sepsis. The care was adequate and I made a full recovery but the staff were too busy to fully meet my needs during my stay.

Did not identify cancer

My mother's cancer was missed during multiple visits to this hospital leading to her passing away due to late diagnosis. This service is awful.

Left in a terrible state

My mum had a fall and we took her to Heartlands for treatment. The care was not good, she was left in a terrible state for a long time. When I took her home she had still not been cleaned up beforehand.

Very good breast cancer care

I visited this hospital as part of my breast cancer treatment. The staff were lovely and the care I received from the nurses was very good. I would have preferred to receive all of my treatment at one hospital but was sent to multiple throughout the treatment process.

Had to sit on the floor in dirty A&E

I had to sit on the floor throughout the 6 hour wait I had in A&E. The department itself is awful and visibly dirty. The care was okay but the overall experience was shocking.
