Outpatient experience was good

I have attended a number of outpatient appointments. They went well enough, the service was good. My overall experience was good.
Waited over 8 hours with a minor injury

I had a minor injury that I tried to get help for at a minor injuries unit but they sent me to Heartlands A&E. My experience was awful and I waited 8 hours to be seen.
Outstanding Emergency Paediatric Treatment

My child was 13 months old when we attended children's A&E at Heartlands Hospital. The department was very busy but she was quickly seen and treated for bronchiolitis. I truly believe that they saved her life, and I am very grateful for the excellent care she received.
Good paediatric care

My son was brought in by ambulance to the Children's Department. Our experience was good. We did not wait long to be seen and we were happy with the level of care and treatment received before being discharged.
Visits here are hell!

I have a terminal illness and I am usually seen at UHB Solihull. Appointments have recently been at Heartlands hospital and I can only describe the visits as hell! The parking is an absolute nightmare and navigating my way around the hospital has been hard. The service and ease of appointments has not been good.
Good but long walk between areas

This hospital is good but there can be some funny times of the day. Everything runs quickly but it can be a long walk through the hospital to different departments.
Can be quite busy and hard to navigate

This hospital is quite busy and can be confusing to navigate. The staff are helpful though and are patient with making sure I understand them since English is not my first language.
Waiting for back procedure

I have had back nerve issues. I was provided injections for 3 months which helped but these stopped. 4-5 months ago I was told that they would carry out a procedure but I am still waiting to be contacted about this.
Too busy to care for me properly

I received poor aftercare from the diabetes team here. They seemed too busy to care for me properly.
Happy with oncology care

I have been undergoing treatment at Heartlands Hospital from the oncology department. Including investigation, diagnosis and treatment. The service has been very good and I am happy with the care I have received.
