UHB Heartlands Hospital

I visited this hospital for antenatal scans and blood tests after being referred by my midwife. The service was good and I had no issues during my visits.

My birth experience here was very positive. The midwives were lovely and looked after me well. I felt very safe throughout.

I was admitted to Heartlands Hospital for treatment related to my COPD. My experience was good but I do not think that treatment is as good as it used to be.

I was admitted to Heartlands Hospital and spent 10 days in their care after having gall stones removed. I cannot fault a thing. Everything was brilliant including the food.

I have had a very good experience with the cardiology outpatients department. I have received excellent follow on care from my cardiology consultant. Communication has been great.

I spent 4 days on a cardiology ward following a heart attack and life saving surgery to fit a stent. The care I received was very good. The staff were very friendly and helpful, but very busy at times. I am very happy with the care and treatment I received.

I was brought in to the A&E department by ambulance following a heart attack. I do not remember much about the experience but I know that they saved my life and I was very quickly treated and rushed into theatre for life saving surgery. My family were kept informed and updated throughout. The doctors and nurses saved my life, and I am very grateful for the excellent service and treatment they provided.

I have been visiting this service for 6 years for cataracts and I've not been happy with the service. I find it difficult to get appointments with them. I am happy with the other services they provide though and have had no other issues.

They're fine but there are long waits for appointments.
