My parents both have different needs and their medications are different. I have requested that their prescriptions be made at the same but I continue to go to the GP surgery to collect the prescriptions separately

SHP is understaffed and the quality of service has gone down in the last 2 years.

It is difficult to get through but once I get through the doctors are very good and the service is great. The management is a problem because The waiting time is very long and the reception response is also not adequate.
Receptionist

The reception gave me appointment and I don't know what it was about. I got there and did not know why I was there. Wrong timings for everything. They take too long to see you and by the time you are seen they issues are not there anymore.

There are no appointment when I have urgent needs. The reception will ask me to take a picture of my affected area and send it online, now they don't even do it again. It really frustrating.

My mother is 82 and when she can't get through on the phone, she has to go to the surgery at 8:30am and stand in the queue. It use to be very easy to access the GP especially for the elderly but now its like we are all standing in the queue and first come first serve. I have to be late for work because I have to stand in the queue for my mother.
Poor communication

I have to call for my test results and drive there to collect it. I think for climate change reasons, the GP need to send test results by email. Why do I need to drive just to collect a piece of paper. If there is no concerns about my test then just email it to me.
