I try to avoid due to parking

As part of SHP I can be offered an appointment at any one of their surgeries. I try to avoid appointments here because the parking is an absolute nightmare. Being disable I do have a blue badge but it is still very difficult to park.
They are awful!

I am not satisfied with the service, they are awful. It is very hard to get an appointment.
The doctors are good when you get to see them

I find it very difficult to get an appointment. I call when the phone lines open but it is normal to be very high in the queue. Last time I was 56th in the queue and waited on hold for over 40 minutes, by which time there were no available appointments. You can now be sent to any of the SHP surgeries, which is not a problem for me because I drive, but I do worry about patients who may struggle with this.

I don't believe we have a surgery anymore because since the SHP merger I can be sent to any of the practices in the partnership. I registered with this surgery as it was local and the most convenient and travelling a distance to other surgeries is very inconvenient. I have waited two weeks for this appointment. There is a lack of continuity of care, as you see different GPs at different practices, there is little chance to build any rapport with any members of staff. The telephone booking system is not fit for purpose and needs to be addressed.
I never get to see a doctor

My experience has been terrible. I can never get an appointment. I have recently tried to get an appointment and visited the surgery on three occasions but I could not get an appointment. I find it impossible to get past the receptionists.

The surgery is terrible, I have visited 3 times recently to try and book an appointment with a doctor. I never get to see a doctor, I just cannot get passed the receptionists.
Will not facilitate me seeing the same doctor

It is very hard to get an appointment. Due to my learning difficulties and anxiety I find it hard seeing different doctors. I ask to see the same doctor but this is never possible. The care I receive from the doctors depends on who I see.

I find the surgery pretty good. I have no problems getting an appointment and I am happy with the care received from the doctors.
Referral to hospital was not made accurately

The GP I saw was very thorough and took the time to listen. However, he did not write in the referral letter to the hospital what he wanted done which made my experience poor and very stressful.

I am well impressed with the efforts made by SHP to engage with and help their patients. There Carers event was fantastic. My surgery is excellent and I have no complaints at all.
