SHP - Shirley Medical Centre

The staff here are lovely and the receptionists are very helpful. I can't always see the doctor I requested but I understand. Sometimes I choose to wait and sometimes I don't when it is a more urgent issue.

I visited this practice for prostate injections. The nurse was very nice and I am happy with the service provided.

I was having a lot of issues and wanted an appointment with a female doctor. When I went in to try and get an appointment they told me I can't have one and would have to try again in a few days. I am not happy as I care for my elderly mother and need to be healthy to do so. I am worried about trying again in a few days and still being told no. I don't want to complain to the practice manager as it could make things worse and be held against me.

Getting an appointment here is very difficult. I also see a different doctor each time so they don't get to know you like they used to.

This service is fine but it is inconvenient to attend regularly as it is not my local surgery.

I can't get an appointment when I need one and the staff do not seem to care.

This service is awful I spent an hour and a half waiting outside only to not get an appointment.

I can't get through to book an appointment with this service. I am in need of care and they aren't providing it.

I find it very hard to get an appointment. I ring at 8am and can't get through so just give up. There is also a lack of consistency in the level of care provided through this service.

Shirley medical centre offers a very good service. I have no trouble getting appointments when I need one and the reception staff are good.
