Good experience due to good staff
October 5, 2023
I have accessed services here when I could not be seen at my own surgery. My experience is generally very good because of the staff, they are lovely. The doctors are wonderful.
Wonderful experience of this surgery
September 8, 2023
I have been a patient at this surgery for 33 years. I have never had a problem here. I can always get an appointment, the staff, doctors, and nurses are all wonderful. There was recently a mix up with my appointment and I was told the appointment had been made at another SHP surgery. The staff know that I am unable to travel to other surgeries and apologised for the administrative error. They arranged for me to be transported to the appointment and I was then taken home. They really did go above and beyond and they really care about their patients.
Unable to get an appointment
August 18, 2023
Telephone appointment system ineffective and regularly cuts out after waiting an excessive amount of time. When an appointment is available there can be up to a two month wait. Still awaiting a diabetes check even though promised a call back and a request from the GP. This service has actually decreased in effectiveness after COVID - it was easier to speak to or visit a GP during lockdown than now
Always a good experience

I'm treated like an adult even though my mum usually comes with me. The doctors are always nice to me at appointments and give good advice.
I would like continuity of care

It will be nice to see the same doctor because it is hard to explain my health to different doctors all the time.
The surgery is okay

The surgery is okay
Messed up my cancer medication
March 27, 2023
This GP made me cry because they messed up my prescription from the hospital. I have bowel cancer and before I started with chemotherapy the hospital asked me to start taking some medication. It took 8 days before I got it and no one was able to explain to me where my prescription has gone to. It was very terrible experience.
Delayed prescription
March 6, 2023
I had to leave my house on a rainy day to go to the GP for my delayed prescription. I called the surgery before leaving my house but the telephone was so busy and it kept cutting off when I got through. As I got to the surgery, the receptionist were rude and unprofessional as usual. They just told me to go back and wait for the pharmacist to call me. I need my medication because of my health condition.
Problem is the system not the Doctors
February 14, 2023
I ring at 8am and cant get through the lines are at full capacity. I'm unable to attend and queue for an appointment due to my medical conditions. I spent £12 queueing on the telephone, I was 47th in the queue and by the time I got through there were no appointments. Reception staff are not always helpful. The doctors are actually lovely if you can get an appointment.
Poor service for children with disabilities
January 13, 2023
My daughter nearly died in during the Christmas week because they were slow to respond and they did not take me seriously. Now my child is on continous medication and she is out of school. All this could have been avoided if they had seen her in the first place.
