Only one follow up in four years

I have only seen my cardiac consultant once in the four years since my diagnosis. The care is not great, I feel like I am being left to manage on my own.

14 hour wait despite cardiac history

I attended the A&E department because I was unwell and have a heart condition. I spent 14 hours in the waiting room and was sent home. I was not happy with the level of service and care that I received.

A 5 hour wait to see a midwife

My experience has been okay, it would be better if waiting times were not so long. I was told to expect a 3 hour wait, but waited over 5 hours. The midwife was good when I saw her.

My appointments here go okay

I have to attend regularly for treatment for a bone condition. I have regular injections. My appointments go okay, the doctors and nurses are lovely.

Good cancer care

I have attended a lot of appointments here during my cancer treatment. I have been happy with the care. The consultant and nurses have been good. They have been helpful and informative.

Hard to get around and find my way

It is a difficult hospital to walk around when you have mobility problems. There are lots of long corridors, its very easy to get lost, and the hospital is difficult to navigate.

Small site making access easier

The hospital is much easier to access and navigate compared to others I have attended for cancer treatment. I do not have to walk far from the carpark, which is helpful because I cannot walk far. I have received treatment from the oncology department and I have been happy with the care I have received.
