Appointment went well but navigating is hard

My appointment went well but all of the walking back and forth is an absolute nightmare. After my appointment I needed to find the pharmacy which is at the other end of the hospital. Parking is also a nightmare.

Excellent Prostate Cancer Treatment

I had prostate cancer treatment, including surgery at Solihull Hospital. The outcome was good. Surgery and follow on treatment were outstanding. The staff were great from nurses to consultants, no complaints at all.

Cancelled appointment without notification

My outpatient appointments normally go very well at Solihull Hospital. My consultant is great, the department runs well and the nurses are lovely. At my last appointment I arrived at reception to be told that the appointment had been cancelled. The receptionist asked if I had received a letter, I politely told her that if I had received a letter cancelling the appointment I would not be there for my appointment. It was a wasted visit and I still have not had a re-scheduled date for the appointment a number of weeks later. Very disappointing service, but I am hopeful that this is a one off and will not happen again.

I received treatment from the oncology team at Solihull Hospital. The service was well run, and appointments went smoothly. The doctors, nurses and consultants were all very good. My treatment went well and I was very happy with the treatment I received.

Oncology nurses are helpful, a great service

The breast cancer treatment I have received at Solihull hospital has been great, I cannot fault the team at all. Recently I have found the oncology nurses excellent. They were very helpful and when I contacted them with concern about not receiving my 12 month routine mammogram they sorted everything out and booked my appointment for me.
