Complications following operation

June 6, 2023
I did not have a great experience due to complications following an operation. I ended up being in hospital for longer than developed a blood clot which I believe could have been caused by lack of movement. The care was okay but could have been much better.

I went to the hospital for blood tests as instructed by my GP surgery to be told not to go there in future by the staff. I was told that they do not get paid to provide these services and that I would have to have them elsewhere.

Sent to be told I needed an appointment

Outpatients

I was told by my doctors surgery to go to Solihull Hospital for a blood test. When I arrived at the hospital I was told that I needed an appointment and that I had been given the incorrect information by my doctors surgery. They agreed to take my blood on this occasion but I was told not to go there again without booking.
