A very good service provider

They provide a very good service and care, it's local which makes it convenient to attend. My experience here is always much better here than at Heartlands hospital.

Brilliant diabetic eye care

I have been here many many times over the years for regular eye checks as part of my diabetic care. I have never had a bad experience, The staff are wonderful.

Only problem was waiting for the appointment

Appointments at the eye clinic have gone very well. The only problem has been waiting for the referral. We waited such a long time I decided to opt for a private appointment but we have been referred back to NHS care.

Very good care from ophthalmology department

I have been attending regularly for injections in my eye. The procedure is very painful but it has helped improve my vision. The staff are very friendly and I am never waiting long for my appointment. I was sent to an alternative UHB hospital for treatment but have requested to move back to Solihull because it is much closer for me to travel to on public transport.

The new urgent treatment centre is excellent

I have had to use the new urgent treatment centre because I could not get a GP appointment at my surgery. The service was very good. I was seen quickly and prescribed antibiotics which I knew I needed.

Misdiagnosed & nearly lost my foot

August 9, 2023
I was misdiagnosed with gout and sent on my way. I knew it was something more serious but they would not listen. I felt I had no choice but to see a private doctor who diagnosed a blood infection. I was operated on within 3 days. If I had of left my problems in the hands of the NHS I would have lost my foot.
