Happy with face to face neurology appointment

I have been under the neurology team for a few years for epilepsy. During covid the appointments were all over the phone which I was not very happy with. I have just had my second face to face review since the end of the pandemic. I am generally happy with the care that I receive, but appointments have mainly been with a nurse and not my consultant.

Excellent communication from consultant

I received treatment here for carpal tunnel in one of my hands. The consultant was great and explained everything very clearly which put me at ease. I am supposed to return for treatment on my other hand soon.

Waited over 2 years for an operation

I was referred to Solihull Hospital for a hysterectomy 2 years ago and haven't heard anything at all from them. My doctor is still trying to find out what is going on.

Excellent treatment and care

I was admitted to Solihull Hospital with a pulmonary embolism. I cannot fault the place. The doctors and nurses were wonderful and the treatment and care I received was excellent.

A good service

The services provided by Solihull Hospital are generally good. My only problem is that I have experienced a long wait for appointments for my eye injections.

Better than Heartlands Hospital

I attended Solihull hospital for day surgery to remove a cancerous growth on my ear. The surgery went well and the staff were fantastic. I felt reassured in their care. A wonderful service.

I was looked after very well following a fall

Very good follow on care
