X-ray appointment went very well

I was referred for an X-ray by my GP. I have had a wait of a few months, but the appointment went well, and I hope I do not wait as long for the results.

Bring back services to this hospital!

This is a great hospital, with appointments well run. It is convenient to get to and the staff are wonderful. We need more services available at the hospital. Bring back services to Solihull hospital that have been taken away. Travel to and from other UHB hospitals is very inconvenient and too costly.

Very happy with the level of care

I care for my mom and have attended numerous outpatient appointments with her at Solihull Hospital. The appointments always go well, we are see in good time, and the doctors and nurses are very good. I have been very happy with the treatment and care given to my mom.

Waiting over 4 years for haemorrhoidectomy

I have been waiting over 4 years for a haemorrhoidectomy. The pain and discomfort I am living in is awful. I have tried chasing up the operation without success.

Waiting over 4 years for surgery

I have been waiting over 4 years now for carpel tunnel surgery. It is a struggle living with the condition and I struggle in my day to day life. I have not been given a clear indication of how much longer I will be waiting.

Excellent urology care

I cannot praise the team enough. I have received excellent treatment from a wonderful team of staff. I recently had the second of three planned operations here. I was a patient for a week. My wife was allowed to stay with me for the full week. I had a private room and my wife was provided with a bed to sleep on. From the cleaners to the consultants they were all fantastic, helpful and friendly, and even the food was great. I have one more planned operation at the hospital and I feel confident safe in the knowledge that this will be at Solihull hospital.
