4-6 month wait for appointment

I was told that there was a 4-6 month wait for an appointment at the low vision clinic when I was referred due to macular disease.

Excellent continuity of care

I was referred here for an appointment with a consultant which came through within a week. During this appointment I was told that I needed an MRI which was booked in for a week later. I received the results and a follow up appointment the following week which was excellent. I am very happy with the continuity of care with everything being sorted within 3 weeks. The osteoporosis care here is excellent.

We need an Accident & Emergency Department!

The community of Solihull need Solihull Hospital to open an Accident and Emergency Department. Travelling to Heartlands Hospital, The Queen Elizabeth Hospital and/or Good Hope Hospital is not providing the best service for the residents of Solihull, and is putting people in our community at risk!

Excellent service from dermatology department

I have been treated by the dermatology department at Solihull Hospital and they have been fantastic. The service is excellent and the department is well run. The doctors are great and have worked with me to find the right medication. I am very happy with the care and treatment I have received.

Solihull Hospital is fantastic, my experience is always good. Parking at the hospital is never a problem which makes visiting lots less stressful. I have been very happy with the care I have received.

Did not get to see a doctor or consultant

I attended Solihull Hospital for a scan. The appointment went well. It was followed up by a physiotherapist and I did not get to see or speak to a doctor or consultant, which was disappointing.
