Myself and my friends have had to phone 111 recently and have been happy with the service provided.
Should be an easier process to access care

Using this service can be quite annoying. They ask a lot of questions that you don't always know the answer to. I feel that this process could be much simpler.

My child was unwell at the weekend recently. I called 111 and was called back by a doctors who booked in an appointment at the badger clinic at Solihull Hospital.
Phoned ahead to hospital for me

I was advised to A&E and they phoned ahead to Heartlands hospital. When I got there a doctor was waiting for me. This service is excellent.

Poor communication with pharmacy

I had to contact them recently for my daughter who had tonsillitis. I had to speak to them 3 times and 3 different prescriptions were apparently sent to my local pharmacy only to be told they didn't have them each time.

I called 111 after a bump to the head two days earlier was still causing me to feel unwell. They advised me to go to A&E at Heartlands Hospital. Overall I was happy with the care and advice provided over the phone.
A good service who sent medical help

I had to call NHS 111 to get advice about an elderly relative. They provided a good service and arranged for a District Nurse to attend. I was happy with the service.
