NHS 111

I find this service very useful. I have recently had to call them when I could not get a GP appointment. They were very helpful and were able to get me an appointment with a GP.

I contacted NHS 111 because I was unable to get a GP appointment. The service was very good, after speaking with a doctor they made an appointment for me to attend the accident and emergency department at Heartlands Hospital.

I had to call 111 after failing to get a GP appointment for my young son. They were very helpful and booked an appointment for us at the urgent treatment centre at Solihull Hospital.

After numerous attempts to get a doctors appointment for worrying symptoms I contacted NHS111. They were absolutely fantastic. I explained the situation to them and told them about my symptoms, and after speaking to a doctor they referred me straight to the hospital. I credit this service for getting me the help I needed, as I was finally examined and diagnosed with bowel cancer.
