Good service, good advice enabled access

I had to call NHS 111 for my child over the weekend. They were very good and told us to book an appointment at a badger clinic. They provided the link and told me to keep refreshing the page as appointments are periodically released throughout the day.

The only way I can see a doctor

Contacting 111 is the only way that I am able to get an appointment with a doctor. I have called them several times and my GP always phone back soon after.

Should be an easier process to access care

Using this service can be quite annoying. They ask a lot of questions that you don't always know the answer to. I feel that this process could be much simpler.

Connected me with a doctor

Phoned ahead to hospital for me

I was advised to A&E and they phoned ahead to Heartlands hospital. When I got there a doctor was waiting for me. This service is excellent.

Poor communication with pharmacy

I had to contact them recently for my daughter who had tonsillitis. I had to speak to them 3 times and 3 different prescriptions were apparently sent to my local pharmacy only to be told they didn't have them each time.
