I called them when I couldn't get in at my GP. I spoke to a doctor who sent a prescription to my local pharmacy. They were very good.

I called them and they advised me to go to A&E. They sent out an ambulance but the paramedics had a go at me for calling them even though 111 sent them.

I used NHS 111 recently when I was unable to get a same day appointment at my GP surgery. After talking to them and answering their triage questions they told me that I needed to see a doctor. They were excellent and booked an appointment for later that day at my own surgery.
The only way I can get a GP appointment

NHS 111 have been extremely helpful. I can never access a GP appointment with my GP direct and find I have to call NHS 111. They are very helpful and have booked me same day appointments with my GP when I have been unable to get an appointment direct. It concerns me that I have to use NHS 111 in this way, but I have no other choice.
