SHP - Monkspath Surgery

This service is a lot better than it used to be. The staff are always helpful and do a very good job. I have no complaints overall.

It can be quite hard to get an appointment as it is difficult to get through on the phone. The process for getting prescriptions sent through is also quite complicated. Despite these issues the doctors are quite good.

I have been with this GP for 23 years and have always found everything to be good.

I recently visited this surgery for an ongoing health issue. I was referred for treatment and had aftercare organised promptly.

I am very happy with this service. I get all of my medication and testing sorted out here.

I have found the services provided here to be very good, especially the arrangements made for routing vaccinations and blood pressure checks. It can be difficult to get appointments due to the 8 o'clock rush but I do not think this practice is an outlier.

It is very difficult to get an appointment here even if you phone as soon as they open. I waited 2 weeks for an appointment only for it to be 20 minutes late and they were very rude, offering no apology for this. There is also no continuity of care as I never get to see the same doctor. All of this makes me just feel like a name and number.

Getting an appointment over the phone can be very difficult. The receptionists ask a lot of questions about why you are seeking an appointment which feels invasive. The online systems for booking and health records should be more comprehensive to help this issue. I am very lucky that I do not have any serious conditions as waiting lists for NHS appointments are so long.

I recently moved back to this country from Spain and this service has been brilliant. I had a blood test done here and was referred promptly for a follow up appointment. The receptionists are also nice and helpful.

I was sent here after trying to get an appointment at Green Lane Surgery. The care I received was okay.
