Receptionists are like bull dogs. They tell you you don't need a GP (even though as a registered healthcare professional myself I know what I need) or to ring 111. 111 are a signposting service not a GP surgery and they can't help with routine things. Why can't GPs see patients face to face anymore. It's It's pandemic I get it but I can sit with a hairdresser for 2 hrs why not a GP for 10 min. GPs have become lazy and disinterested in tgeir patients and are failing in their duty of care. I needed to be seen due to an ankle problem and the GP was not interested. I ended up at the urgent treatment centre who sent me to A&E.

Took a month to get a phone call back from a doctor and still had to tell the receptionist what was wrong with me first! Doctor didn’t listen to me at all and gave me medication I didn’t need as they didn’t listen to my needs so I’m still without the help I needed so it will be another month of constantly phoning to be put in a que of 30+ Every morning then to be told no appointments and to phone back in the morning

Rude receptionist . Never no appointments

I have sat in hold for over one hour most days to try and get my son an appointment to be told no appointments. Always have the same answer from them to call 111 . This puts strain on 111 as my son only need cream . 111 tell us to call back to doctors as they can allocate appointments for what I need . ( which I completely agree with them when I have a gp ) . When I call back the surgery receptionist answer is call 111 and tell them we are not going to give you an appointment.

Recently tried to get an appointment for myself, an 8 week post c section check. Was told 5 days in a row there were no appointments despite being less than 10 in the queue. No appointments for blood tests or smears either.

Can phone at 8, be on the phone for an hour and 26th in the queue but when they finally answer they have no appointments. Receptionists are rude. Shame really cause it used to be good, now I have to be dying before I will even try book an appointment

Not even worth one star.

Receptionists decide if you need to be seen. Over 1 hour 45m on hold when you ring at 8am. Get through eventually and no appointments.
