Cannot get through

Pretty useless, cannot get through to get any appointment, lines are always busy. When my mental health was at it lowest, I had to seek support elsewhere. Local support service helped me through it. Even when I got a referral from the mental health support charity, the GP did not pay any attention to me. Sometimes I feel like the health service is not meant for someone like me.
Harder to get appointments and no triage

I see the doctor for my daughter who is 13 yrs old.
I use DR IQ app which helps to get appointments that are available.
Doctors are good and are happy with them.
It is harder to get phone appointments and there is no triage.
If there are any appointments then they do offer call backs to advise.

Waiting time

The waiting time on the phone is very long, sometimes it cuts off and I have to start all over again. My mental health has got worse and I get anxiety calling the GP.

I won't use GP, I wont phone up.
If you can get an appointment your generally okay but getting face to face appointment is impossible.

Getting appointments has never been the best best. Unable to see nurses.

I contacted my GP for my medications. I had to wait 8 weeks for them.
The receptionists were rude. If it was in receptionist charge they would not let anyone in.
Because of the long wait I was nearly suicidal and because of the issue.
I am now accessing local services who assisted at the time.

Charities help me more than GPs

I am a victim of domestic abuse and violence, I got in touch with the GP for appointment and they told me to contact the social services. They could have brought me in and talked to me about my health. Nothing was done and ever since I have never contacted them anymore. Charities are doing better job than the GPs.

GP service is not good. Never ring back when said they would. Can never get through on the phone to surgery.

I wanted to see the GP for my child because of continous body temperature and they just told me to administer caporal and I did. After 5 days the temperature was still there and I went to A&E and waited for 8 hrs before being seen. They found out that it was a serious infection in the ear and chest.
Face to face

Reception told me there are no appointment to see the doctor for 8 weeks. I have a skin rashes and I have been asked to take a foto of the rash and send it to the gp. It is absurd and embarrassing for someone my age to do such a thing. its might work for certain group of people but not for me. I find it offensive and I do not know where and who is seeing my fotos.
