Short wait and lovely staff

I recently visited the autoimmune research lab and they were amazing. There was hardly any wait to be seen and the staff were lovely.
Lack of communication following operation

I visited this hospital for day surgery. I was waiting 4 hours but they looked after me well. The communication following the procedure was lacking however. I was just given leaflets and a brown bag with medication. I had to google to find information about what I had been given.
Biopsy organised promptly

I had a biopsy sorted here two weeks after being referred. The results came through quickly as well.
Very good rheumatology care

Rheumatology appointments at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital have been very good. I have been satisfied with the service and care I have received.
Issues with referrals but fine overall

They're fine but getting an appointment is hard. They refer you but it doesn't seem to work out. For a problem I had with my foot, I had an X-ray done and they said they referred me for further treatment but nothing happened for a long time.
Don't feel safe in A&E but staff were great

I visited A&E on a Friday evening and there were lots of people that didn't need to be there. It was quite a scary environment and I didn't feel safe. The staff were great the visit was just quite intimidating.
The service provided has been okay

I have had to attend a number of appointments at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital relating to my kidney condition. My experience has usually been okay.
Issues with parking but fine overall

They are fine but the parking is not good. This is especially an issue as I can't walk currently.

I have recently completed a 20 day treatment plan of radiotherapy at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital for prostate cancer. The staff were fantastic and the treatment (I hope) went very well. I have a number of follow on appointments with my consultant. I have been very happy with the service I have received.
