UHB Good Hope Hospital

I have received very good care from the cardiology team at Good Hope Hospital. I had to have a pace maker fitted. The consultant was very good and follow on check ups have been very good.

I have visited this hospital once for an MRI and was very happy with the service.

I find them really good. I was recently admitted for some issues I was having and everything went smoothly. They were brilliant really and I had no issues.

The antenatal care here is very good.

The staff there were good but they were clearly understaffed.

I visit this hospital often for different health concerns and it has always been a good experience. The staff are really good and always helpful.

My experience with the pain clinic was not great. I didn't get an appointment for ages so I called them. The staff were rude and just told me they were transferring me elsewhere which was the best thing they did.

The gynaecology department are very good but they only carry out the procedure I needed under anaesthetic and you need to stay in all day. Other hospitals just do it during appointments and there is no waiting around. There was also a mix up meaning I was waiting 12 months for this procedure. I called them and the receptionist was quite abrupt but put me back on the waiting list.

I came here for an urgent appointment but couldn't park in time which meant I missed the appointment.

The care I received here was very good but the food was dreadful.
