UHB Solihull Hospital

My appointment here went well. This hospital is very clean and the staff are helpful. The volunteers are all very helpful as well.

I have been here a few times and they've been good each time.

I started coming here in 2020 for arthritis injections and they have been good. It isn't difficult to get appointments, especially when my condition worsens and the doctors and nurses are all very good. The only issue I have is that when I first started coming here the medication they gave me didn't work. I was in a lot of pain and would cry every time I came in for an appointment. It took 2 years for them to change to a medication that worked. I think this medication is more expensive so they wanted to wait and see if it started working, but 2 years is a long time. Since this changed over however everything has been very good.

I have visited the ENT department a few times and they're fine. It was difficult to get seen here in the first place though after I was referred by my GP.

My daughter had an ENT appointment scheduled here. The details of the appointment came through quickly and everything went well.

I have been here a few times for scans and I've never had any problems. I have been quite anxious about my visits in the past but the staff are good and reassure me. Appointments are difficult to get though and I have been waiting over a year to see someone about an issue with my kidneys due to the long wait list.

I am very happy with the service they provide. The urology department have been very thorough when investigating my issue.

I recently had an MRI at Solihull Hospital. The appointment went okay, but my experience was hindered because I struggled to understand the member of staff who was assisting me and explaining things. It made the appointment quite difficult but it was done, which was the main thing.

My experience was very good, they provide a very good service.

The service from the phlebotomy department at Solihull Hospital has greatly improved in recent months. The new department is running much better. There is sometimes still a queue but it moves very quickly. I have to have regular blood tests to monitor my kidney condition, the good service at Solihull Hospital has greatly improved my experience. The staff are great.
