UHB Solihull Hospital

I attend Solihull Hospital's ophthalmology department on a regular basis for treatment. Waiting times can be long and I have waited up to an hour and a half in the past. That said there are signs up in the department and the staff do keep me informed. Treatment and care is very good. Parking is very difficult. My daughter brings me to my appointments and at the most recent visit we had to drive in an out of the car park four times before we found a space. There were no disabled bays available and parking in a normal space as a wheelchair user was very difficult.

I was referred to the hospital by my GP for a consultation with a plastic surgeon. I have had a couple of appointments at Solihull Hospital. The consultant was very good and has referred me on to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital for minor plastic surgery. Overall I am very happy with the service I have received at Solihull Hospital.

I visit Solihull Hospital regularly for chemotherapy and visits to the dermatology department following my skin cancer diagnosis. The service has been good and I am happy with the treatment I have received. The departments always call me to advise me of follow up appointments.

A very good service. The team of staff are lovely. The physiotherapy has really been helping my stroke recovery.

My urgent referral appointment arrived very quickly, I was seen within two weeks. The doctor was very thorough and tests were carried out etc. The doctor was informative and I was very satisfied with the service I received.

I have received a 20 week course of physiotherapy and have really progressed. It has really helped me gain confidence.

The blood test department has really improved. I can get appointments when I need tests doing and the staff are always friendly.

The doctors here are very blasé and dismiss your concerns. They seem to think that everyone has the same issues.

I go here for regular blood tests if there is a long wait at my GP. The staff are really friendly and chatty and I'm never waiting long to be seen.
