I have been seen and treated quickly.

I am a recently diagnosed breast cancer patient and from the time of my diagnosis to now when I am awaiting radiotherapy I have had nothing but the beat care at Solihull hospital. Staff are under immense pressure across the NHS but I have seen no evidence of this as a patient and it is to their credit. Thank you for taking care of me.

During the covid 19 pandemic I’ve had to go to the hospital on a few occasions, blood tests, rheumatology treatments, MRI and x rays. Always had a prompt appointment and perfect treatment. Thank you Solihull hospital.

It’s been negative because of Covid. I’ve had surgery cancelled and no support whatsoever after a diagnosis of breast cancer. I had to meet a breast care nurse on the hospital car park to receive post surgery bars as I was sent to Little Aston to have surgery and wasn’t allowed into Solihull Hospital to have as proper fitting. I was given a post it note with a list of wig suppliers on it and told to ‘give them a try’ after I was told I needed chemo. No guidance or support was give regarding the loss of my hair I had to support myself! However oncology were very supportive when I had chemo. I have been refused breast reconstruction surgery and I’m now told that there is a 2 year wait - not great for my self esteem any of this! Get these surgeries back on track as they are desperately needed!

Prompt, friendly, fast.

Went for an ultrasound scan of abdomen. Appointment came through very quickly, was in an out of the unit so fast, I didn't need to pay for the parking. Staff lovely and friendly.

Entered main entrance where security man took my appointment letter gave it to reception, then sanitizers all full where I had to sanitize, was given a card to take to seat so when I left I had to leave the card on seat to b sanitized, masks were worn aswel, wasnt over crowded either,

Staff were rude and the layout wasn’t clear

Went a few times during Covid last year for tests. Staff make you feel safe, attitude was rude, would rather gossip to other staff than help you out.

3 members of my family have been referred. 2 of us have had several telephone consultations and then given appointment for clinic. We arrived at hospital twice to be told the letter was sent in error as the dr was shielding. There MUST be more than one ENT consultant within the trust? The secretaries also need to sort themselves out and get the right letters out to people.
I was referred with red flag symptoms in December and despite chasing up have had no contact with them.

All staff professional and compassionate.

Hygiene was phenomenal and all staff looked after me so very well. I can’t praise the NHS enough. Wonderful service
