Poor patient service

Can’t get through on the phones.
Can’t get an appointment. Just referred to 111 for my sick child.
Long wait times for sick notes, repeat medication.
Practices were so much better before they merged to SHP.

You can never see a GP or speak to one

The wait time to speak to someone is usually about 50 minutes which is shocking! A GP won’t see you, to even get a smear was a rigmarole, I don’t understand why the GP’s here can not now see patients like hospital out patients do!
Too Long Waiting on the phone

As a family we have experienced extremely long waits to get through on the phone 20mins - 90mins. To then receive telephone miss diagnosis on two separate occasions.

Cannot speak to anyone, unable to get agave to face appointment. Phone lines constantly full - complete waste of time

Couldn’t get through on the phone contacted 111 appointment arranged but 3 weeks wait during this period without seeing patient or having blood test result medications increased no explanation no contact to discuss results of blood test are we supposed to have knowledge of blood results as you can’t get through on the phone now in limbo appalling service

Tried to contact had to go via 111 telephone appointment made this arranged a blood test but in 3 weeks time during this period without seeing the patient or having results from the blood test medication increased how? No explanation
Hard to book appointments & oversubscribed.

Calling at 8 a.m. for an on the day appointment puts you around 50th in the queue, and by the time you reach the front, all appointments have gone. Routine appointments are at least 3 weeks behind, and any follow up from doctors is ridiculously slow. Management of chronic or complex health conditions is abysmal.

I would prefer to email, but there is no email address. I am overdue a mammogram and have tried calling, but there are too many people waiting so it told me to call back. Last time I phoned about a different matter I was on hold for an hour.
