Very poor telephone answering serivce

Long wait to receive telephone appointment over 7 days. Miss information received. Advised X-Ray would be arranged and nothing happened. 26 mins before I was advised I was 15 in the queue and 56 mins before I got to speak to someone all at a time when I was feeling very unwell.
Good once you can get an appointment!

Reception staff and GP's very helpful but booking an appointment over the phone is virtually impossible!

Long queues on the phone then no appointments. Services spread over various surgeries even though as a local resident I can walk within 2 minutes to my local surgery. Has definitely gone down in performance since becoming part of SHP!!

Initially great diagnosis and care. However recently (and by this I mean from pre pandemic) it's almost impossible to get to speak to a doctor. Can't book in advance for non urgent problems. Have to spend and age on the phone to get a same day appointment. When you can speak to a doctor service level is great though

My wife needs to see a doctor. Thyroid removed 12 months ago and meds don’t seem to be right. Also an ongoing pain in the appendix area. Phoned 5 times cut off every time as switchboard was overloaded. Called in her lunch break. Never made reception cut off at the door by someone suggesting she keeps calling or turns up at 8am to see if any appointments are left! What ever happened to duty of care!
Dreadful. Not fit for purpose.

Can’t get through on the phones or appointments. It a joke. Don’t trust these people. Why are they being allowed to continue?

Surgery and wider health partnership did not appear to have returned to normal post pandemic. Almost impossible to get face to face with doctor. If and when you do they are lovely but more often than not you’re referred to 111 or a&e even for conditions which are easily managed by go’s

Takes days to get through to receptionist due to poor phone system the. Have to wait 3 weeks for a telephone consultation

Can’t get through on the phones.
Can’t get an appointment. Just referred to 111 for my sick child.
Long wait times for sick notes, repeat medication.
Practices were so much better before they merged to SHP.
