Waiting to see the doctor and medication

I have just 1 phone call from the GP. I have been waiting for 2 months to see the doctor. Because I have learning difficulties am unable to express myself. The reception dose not understand me and always brushing me off.

GP is good to me and mum. Very kind and much better then Cheswick Green Surgery. Happy now at Tanworth Surgery. Can see a G.P and no problem.

Seems in practice pharmacists are doing bulk of doctors work! Can’t visit surgery or see a doctor !

Dreadful service

Next to impossible to get a call answered never mind an appointment. COPD check up to 2 years out of date-new system we will call you on your next birthday, online bookings & prescription ordering not working. How much longer can GPS get away with the Covid excuse. I work in healthcare-face to face & no time off for Covid, surely they have a duty of care as a public service. Poor reception staff take the brunt of management bad decisions.

Impossible to get an appointment.

Even if calling at 8am on the dot there’s 30 people in front. Get a different answer from EVERY receptionist and impossible to see anyone at all face to face! Absolute nightmare!

Waiting, waiting, waiting for an answer.

Wait to speak to receptionist varies from 15 minutes to 1hrs 40 minutes, sick of music and interruptions saying "yr call is very important" if it's so important, why don't they get people to answer the phones. Never get app with gp, surgery still locked. Disgraceful.

Over an hour to get through on the phone.

Keep getting drugs wrong. Making changes to prescriptions without consultation. Sending patients to The Village Surgery, the equivalent of having your G.P. move to another town. Complaint letters ignored. Unable to order drugs online, because the website is not maintained. Given appointment for wrong date and time so was turned away when I attended. (again, at The Village Surgery.)

Difficult to get through on phone

Doctors appointment are on the phone - with no timesaver given, you just have to wait all day.
I had two problems, both of which they told me to go to A&E, neither are urgent immediate life threatening issues so I WILL NOT waste the hospital time, especially when my own GP can’t be bothered - appalling ‘care’
