Some very good. But some extremely horrendous

April 14, 2021
Nick the nurse practitioner. Is fantastic. Some receptionist, have no clue what's going on or how to do things. They need to have the dr's in 5 days aweek or at least 4 days. And have more nurses/HCA clinic lead appointments.and implement fines for those who do not attend their appointments.
Having come out of hospital from a heart attack, having meds for 2 weeks, gave in letter from hospital. And asked to order more meds. When went to collect perscription. They said I had already had one over a week ago, after a bit of back and forth saying I have not had any, I said the 'last issued' date was when I brought in the letter ???? then said I would have to wait and reorder them, trying then to explain that I NEEED the meds, say they were not on emergency meds. But have others go out of their way to get the perscription asap . Look of the draw ????

Never had a problem

Never had a problem with this practice always get an appointment as long as I put the effort in and call at 8. Staff and doctors are friendly. You have to wait on the phone to get through but thats the same in most places.

Reception is never the greatest experience.
However the doctors, and nurse practitioners are in general ok at there job. Never had an issue all my issues lay at reception.

Never get an appointment

April 14, 2021
Always ring up, never can get booked in, waiting ages to try and see a doctor.
In the four years of me moving house I’d say I’ve been 5-6 times to the doctors if that, because I physically can’t get in with them at all. There’s times where I really needed to see someone and I’ve just been turned down.

Doctors are great but not the receptionists

April 14, 2021
Never had issues with any doctors, always been good. Don’t like having to tell the receptionist what’s wrong though. None of their business. During covid, yes annoying to have to do it by phone but still get the treatment or advise that I need and have been able to get a face to face when needed. It’s hard to get an appointment at times but I know it’s due to the amount of patients they have.

Appalling, rude and miserable

its disgusting that you have to tell the receptionist what's wrong with you before they give you an appointment or call back, if you don't they you will not get an appointment, most of the time you can't get an appointment, very bad surgery

Since covid has been around the practice are not seeing patients even though Boris Johnson said still go to see your Gp. Had a few phone consultations, and they've diagnosed things without even seeing me.

Given a telephone appointment at 08:20. Forgot my 2 year old daughter and rang the next day and ‘apologised’.
