Can never get an appointment, phone lines are always busy or in a queue longer that 30 minutes. Service depends on who greets you on reception. Only 1 really helpful receptionist but hardly see her on reception now. A VERY small number of staff are helpful. Level of care depends on which Dr you see. Dr Baker & Dr Hayles are very good, rarely get to see them though
Terrible practice

Never any face to face appointments meaning an ambulance to a&e for my husband for emergency life affecting intestinal surgery in June 2020 due to a mis diagnosis.
Terrible experience

I have been a patient at a number of GP surgeries during my lifetime, but this has to be one of the most appalling surgeries that I have ever been to.
The staff at the practice are vile. You are terrified about speaking up or making a complaint for fear of being struck off.
The reception staff are rude and unprofessional. There has been times when I have been in the queue and the receptionists have been busy chatting about what they had watched on the tv the night before. Completely ignoring the people waiting. There was one time when I could clearly hear them gossiping about another patient after she had left.
A awful place. It truly is.

Absolutely no support or appointments.

At the start of this so called pandemic, I was off work with work related stress. When I spoke with the doctor during a phone call, he asked what I did for a living. When I told him I worked for the for service, he basically told me that I needed to get back to work and how important it was that I do my job. As you can imagine that did not help in any way. Utterly inappropriate response.
Poor excuse for a surgery

No face to face appointments EVER available ended up rushing by ambulance to a & e for life saving emergency surgery. Honestly would not recommend this surgery to my worst enemy.
GPs useless
August 4, 2020
I will say the nursing staff including nurse practitioner s are excellent and I rate them all. However other then 1 GP they are useless. They often do not do follow up bloods etc I can go years without medication reviews. I am the one who has to go to tell them its time for my blood test. One Doctor in particular just doesn't have a clue! The surgery is very poorly run. Receptionists do a good job but with things changing every 5 mins there job role changes a lot. Ways to get an appointments changes with no patient consultation. Its easier to get blood from a stone then do get a appt with an actual Doctor. It can take weeks of calling day after day with no joy. I am not a fan of telephone consultations. Obviously during Covid it has been more urgent. I certainly don't recommend this surgrey esp if you wish to see a Doctor. I cannot fault the nursing staff though.
No regard for disabled
August 4, 2020
drs don't seem to no how to treat my condition consultants ask them to prescribe medication they refuse . No cater for disabled women to have smear tests receptionists are vile and when requesting new meds I got told to go and put prescription request in box in in a wheelchair and cant reach receptionist laughed
They refuse to use the disabled counter when you go and enquire at reception
Disabled toilet size is shocking room way too small and heavy fire door that I caught my fingers in
When requesting appointments over phone explained I was in a wheelchair to receptionists and got challenged saying that chsir could be anybodies how do I no your disabled
More idisability information should be added to top of patients notes in order for it to be clear patient is disabled .
My son has autism and was questioned by receptionists why he couldn't ring up and make his own appointments and medication review
Need i go on ........
Disability discrimination needs serious investigation the main culprits receptionists lack of knowledge and understanding

Worse doctors
August 4, 2020
It is the worse doctors around chelmsley wood areas. You ring up at 8 o clock in the morning (opening time) for an appointment, stay on hold for up to 45 minutes when you are connected
There is no appointments left. I haven’t seen my doctor in over 18 months and whenever I ring up its always the same thing, no appointments. You are better off going to the walk-in centre got a better chance of being seen.
