Need more face to face appointments

Needed to see a doctor a couple of times but only got telephone appointments which didn't help much

Most the time your greeted on the phone by no appointments quite rude and blunt then they put phone down, however I find the actually doctors and nurses pretty good but you can never get an appointment here even calling up bang on 8 o'clock you are in position 30+ in the queue

When ever you call your clearly already in a worried state as you wouldn’t be calling the doctors if something was not wrong with you or a family member it’s not something you do for fun, but other than 1 or 2 of them majority are just rude to you on the phone they don’t follow on with any advice on where you can get seen just no appointments goodbye try tomorrow you can be trying every morning for up go 2 weeks and still not get an appointment which is the case for me at times and my mental health hit an ultimate low due to this and feeling I had no where to turn. The doctors are lovely especially doctor bosworth when you can get in but there is just no system that seems fair or seems to work Iv been in the surgery and witnessed some angry patients but in their defence none of the receptionists show any sort of compassion or empathy towards them and it is very frustrating when your constantly trying to get an app and told there are none available.
Rude, noisey and unhelpful receptionist.

Receptionist can be so quick to get you off the phone, they can be unhelpful, rude and act to much like god, you ask for a doctor to call and they decide it is a nurse. You can never get through to them and the Receptionist let some of the staff down. Doctors dont read notes when they call you so dont have a idea on who you are or what you have. Id like to say sue is a great nurse and really looks after my husband.
Never get to speak to anyone

There is always a queue of callers sometimes up to 20 when your call gets to 30 minutes it automatically cuts you off so you have to start over again. I can't understand why it has been closed for so long. No communication, I have been posting my repeat prescription through there door for months I have just found out I didn't need to because they have put me on automatic repeat with the pharmacy. NO ONE BOTHERD TO TELL ME.
Can never get an appointment

I’m currently pregnant and have still not met “my midwife” I’ve had limited appointments and when I contact midwife for advice/concerns I’m rarely contacted back.
They never have appointments at all after 8.3

Receptionists are rude to everyone. They never have appointments after 8.30am because they only have 1 doctor doing call backs according to the receptionists. Takes 9 days for an 82 year old to get an appointment due to a water and chest infection resulting her going to hospital. They are not helpful at all, they do not listen to your requests and slam the phone down on you happened a couple of occasions to my mother who has had a stroke. It has gone downhill over the past few years and only seems to be getting worse.
Trouble getting through on the phone lines

Every morning it takes ages to get through to anyone if u are lucky enough to ever get through all appointments are then gone! Still not seeing any patients, doctors here have got far too comfortable using phone consultations and therefore are mainly only doing this even when the patient proves low risk to passing anything on and patient feels they need to see a doctor. Should switch back on the online appointments. Not enough doctors. Receptions rude and not helpful. Finally got into doctors to c a physiotherapist and he recommended I see my gp, total disbelief when the unhelpful receptionist told me that I needed to leave and call at 08:00 am every day until I was able to obtain an appointment! Needless to say I’ve not managed to do this it’s been about 3 months I have up in the end!
Extremly hard to get medical care when needed

Very hard to get care often resulting in visiting badger centers or hospital. The phone lines are also extremly frustrating often cut off after been in a queue a very long time. Its becoming very worrying at the lack of medical care accessible to myself and familiy, its got pregessivly harder to seek help over the years.

you cant get through on the phones, if by miracle you do there are never any appoitments, reception staff are rude and seem to think theyre qualified in diagnosing you. they dont know if my pain is urgent or not.
