Poor, reception staff are not DRs.

July 31, 2021
Tried for 5 days to get through 45-60 mins waiting only to be told to call back. Then I needed a fit note, again to be told the Dr that issues them only does so twice a week?? And the same with my prescription review. Receptionist was able to extend it by 1 month but I was told to call back next month as the Dr who issues/ carries out prescription reviews was on annual leave. To my knowledge. Every Dr is able to issue fit notes, and every Dr is able to review a prescription!! Also the one time I was able to actually get passed the receptionist and speak to a Dr I asked if I could come in to see them face to face, and was told I was speaking to a locum who was not based at the practice,

Once you actually get a appointment, good.

Very difficult to get an appointment.receptionists are very rude.bad attitudes.if you do get an appointment, then I can’t fault the services, however the receptionists are a law unto theirselves.why can people who go to work not book an appointment? No allowances made for us.I’ve tried for weeks to even get through on the phones only to be told to ring back the next day.it took me over 2 months to finally get an appointment to see the nurse.lots of changes are needed for this surgery to come up to an acceptable level.I have no choice but to stay at this practice as I don’t fall in any other catchment.a good start would be to send the receptionists onto some training courses in customer services, and to learn some compassion as this is severely lacking here.I would not recommend this practice at all

It’s really hard to get an appointment for this surgery, even though I keep getting texts from the surgery telling me my asthma review is due or my mental health review is due, instead of giving me an appointment I’m expected to call and make one …. It’s been 3 months and counting and I still haven’t managed to get one !!

Impossible to speak to

July 28, 2021
After a 2 min prerecorded message, another message will say that they’re too busy for any calls and can’t get through to the queue at all.
If you do get into a queue you’re on hold for 35-40+ mins to have the line cut off.
Trying to request medication which is usually on repeat but was taken off when trying to order through doctors app.
Sent personalised message to request they add the medication but had a generic text back to say that I needed to call them to order it. When I try to call I can’t speak to anyone. I’m at a complete loss as to what to do.
Very inconvenient when trying to contact them around work hours.

Impossible to see a G.P

July 21, 2021
I had sudden hearing loss & tried 5 days to get a GP appointment. Each time there was no appointment left after waiting up to 45 minutes each time to get through. I had to use 111 & Badger clinic, who prescribed antibiotics

Useless

Receptionists are extremely rude and don’t give you time to explain why you need the service. In order to get an appointment you have to fit with the criteria made by the receptionists

Waited 40 minutes for them to cut me off. Never get an appointment receptionist say dont bother trying to call on a monday. Doctors are all lovely if you can get past the receptionist to see one.

Incompetent

The receptionists are totally incompetent and think it's OK to speak to people with such disregard. They constantly get things wrong and blame you. Someone seriously needs to retrain the receptionists or get new staff. And as for the doctors, we'll Dr [name] talks over you constantly and will not allow you to speak as you may undermine his authority and Dr [name] needs to retire, he is of no use to anybody. Misdiagnosis and informing you that they cannot help with your mental health. The only constant from that practise is sending out letters warning people if they dare to have a different opinion or even a point to make they will be barred from the practise. I will say though the nurses are lovely and actually talk to you with respect.
