Awful doctors

December 7, 2021
Would give 0 stars if I could, after a vitamin deficiency which I had to fight to have a blood test and ended up worse and in hospital then when I requested one once I was better (after folic acid and b12 injections) I had a couple of months break and asked for one to be 100% sure I was okay and was told by Dr [name] if I was feeling better I shouldn't need it and its expensive for them when it comes to blood tests, surely considering medical history I should be able to ask for one to be 100% sure as the last thing I wanted was to end up ill and in hospital again. Would not recommend

Never get an appointment.

Never get appointments, receptionists are rude as hell and act like doctors so unless you’re dying don’t bother

i managed to get a telephone appointment with the nurse for my daughter about going on the pill. booked it for after 4pm as she isnt home from school till then, they called her while she was still in school, twice, as she couldnt answer was told to rebook. i call and theyre saying they wouldnt have offered an appointment so late. yes they did, they need to check thier recordings they use for training purposes for proof. now she has to wait another week.

Impossible to get an appointment

December 7, 2021
On a number of occasions we have tried to get through to get an appointment for our children and ourselves. Start dialling at 8am to sit in a queue for 30 mins to be told no appointments. Even if urgent for kids (inc a baby) we get told try again tomorrow. We end up calling 111 and treated at urgent care more often than not not

Never can get an appointment

December 7, 2021
Called numerous amounts of times, either no appointments or the phone gets put down. Called a couple weeks ago and they finally answered the young girl on who answered put the phone down on me as soon as I said “ I’ve been trying to get an appointment for weeks now…” didn’t even finish what I was saying. Drove down there to explain what just happened to be told, “sorry not sure who that was”. Still no better off. Then we wonder why hospitals are so full.

If I could change I would

Receptionists think they are better qualified than the Dr's. That's when you can get through to them that is. Had an operation and needed bloods done took a month after op to get them. Would move surgeries in a heartbeat if I could for me and my son.

Not helpful on frontline. Service does think

November 18, 2021
Try to call for an appointment- only if you are able to hold for 40 mins. Then repeat for several days before giving up. Not being able to ring for repeat prescriptions is not helpful. Elderly parents I care for having to have medication reviews 3 months at a time, go to reorder online but can’t, can’t get an appointment… what are you supposed to do…I work full time in social care. Wish they would just treat us better.
