Happy with A&E visits for my children
March 31, 2025
I don't come to this hospital regularly but I have brought my children to A&E before and was happy with the service.
Stay was good but discharge was not as smooth
March 31, 2025
My stay in cardiology was very good. The care and food were good, I have no complaints. The discharge process was not as smooth. There was a lack of communication and everything was online. I didn't see a doctor so nothing was really explained to me.
Cared for quickly but waited 24 hours to be transferred
March 31, 2025
When I arrived at A&E I received care immediately but spent 24 hours in a bay waiting to be transferred to cardiology.
Fantastic when I brought my father in
March 31, 2025
I had heard good things about this hospital but thankfully they were good when we brought my father in to A&E. He had a broken hip so he was in for a few weeks. The service given was fantastic and the food and cleanliness were good. I have no complaints at all.
The worst UHB hospital
March 28, 2025
My experience of Heartlands Hospital has not been great. Its a shame because some of the staff are lovely they just cannot cope with demand. Waiting times there are very long. It is the worst UHB hospital and I try to avoid.
Sent home after starting to be induced
March 28, 2025
The maternity service is terrible. My pregnancy was overdue so half induced and then they sent me home due to a lack of bed. The staff just didn't seem to care.
A&E make you wait hours
March 28, 2025
They make you wait for hours to be seen in A&E.
Excellent Care in SDEC
March 28, 2025
I was transferred to SDEC from A&E with a suspected blood clot. The treatment from the staff on SDEC was outstanding. The department was clean and bright. A very good experience given the circumstances.
Very Good A&E Experience
March 28, 2025
I attended A&E with a suspected blood clot. I was triaged quickly by a nurse and referred on to SDEC for care. I was happy with the care I received in the A&E department and the fact I was seen quite quickly.
