The Castle Practice

My experience of The Castle Practice has been awful. I find it extremely hard to book appointments and I have only found one receptionist to be helpful. When you get appointments the surgery is always running late, and it's normal to be seen an hour after your appointment time. On one occasion I waited for four hours, I repeatedly approached reception to check they had booked me in and they told me they had. You have to order repeat prescriptions online or in person which is difficult around work. Accessing appointments around work is also difficult. On one occasion the doctor prescribed me medication that I should not have taken and I ended up in A&E.

The Castle Practice are an outstanding surgery, and I am very grateful for the excellent service I have received from them over the years.

I don't have any problems with them. I always find appointments when I need one and the waiting time is not longer than 10 minutes.

This service is generally okay and I can usually get in when I need to.

I told them that I was having issues with nebuliser supplies but they told me they couldn't help and it had to go through the respiratory team.

The Castle Practice are a good surgery. I have regular appointments to monitor my thyroid condition which includes regular blood tests. I am happy with the service provided.

They provide a very good service. Due to my medical conditions and disability when I need to see a doctor home appointments are arranged. I am happy with the service provided.

The GPs do not listen and the reception team are rude and unhelpful.

The doctor I used to see here was fantastic and treated you like a real person. Now they just don't have a clue and the mental health support is very hit and miss.

In general they are very good. I am never waiting long for appointments and can get them quite easily. The continuity of care here is also quite good.
