Poor staff standards

Rheumatology clinic not easy to access and signage unhelpful. Receptionists hidden behind screen and computer, like barriers, one,opthalmology, hostile and rude. Watching daytime TV quiz,eating, drinking and using phones. No staff or patients at all,empty facilities.

Fertility services are aweful. If you are over a certain age, or if you have previously had a child, there is no help for secondary infertility.
We are forced to use the Black Market because the hospital and health authority are unable to help us.
Other areas have differing rules.

Breast care pre and pandemic and oncology and surgery as pandemic began. I was just let hanging after my operation was cancelled. Got my opp eventually at spire but no follow up, no support, nothing, just a call from dr to say you need chemo, he promised a follow up call but that never happened. Had to meet breast care nurse on carpark at Solihull hospital to to given a post surgery bar pre operation very degrading.!! Oncology were supportive g to though my chemo thankfully x

I am a recently diagnosed breast cancer patient and from the time of my diagnosis to now when I am awaiting radiotherapy I have had nothing but the beat care at Solihull hospital. Staff are under immense pressure across the NHS but I have seen no evidence of this as a patient and it is to their credit. Thank you for taking care of me.

During the covid 19 pandemic I’ve had to go to the hospital on a few occasions, blood tests, rheumatology treatments, MRI and x rays. Always had a prompt appointment and perfect treatment. Thank you Solihull hospital.

I couldn’t think of a better place to put more money into than this very caring hospital our town needs this Hospital expanding

It’s been negative because of Covid. I’ve had surgery cancelled and no support whatsoever after a diagnosis of breast cancer. I had to meet a breast care nurse on the hospital car park to receive post surgery bars as I was sent to Little Aston to have surgery and wasn’t allowed into Solihull Hospital to have as proper fitting. I was given a post it note with a list of wig suppliers on it and told to ‘give them a try’ after I was told I needed chemo. No guidance or support was give regarding the loss of my hair I had to support myself! However oncology were very supportive when I had chemo. I have been refused breast reconstruction surgery and I’m now told that there is a 2 year wait - not great for my self esteem any of this! Get these surgeries back on track as they are desperately needed!

Went for an ultrasound scan of abdomen. Appointment came through very quickly, was in an out of the unit so fast, I didn't need to pay for the parking. Staff lovely and friendly.
