Great care environment

I had a chest X-ray at the hospital and it was quick and efficient. Staff were brilliant too.

I have been having a persistent infections in my throat. My doctor sent me to the hospital for further investigations. I am very pleased with the results.

Waiting 9 months for urology appointment

In June 2022 I had a scan and would be put on the waiting list to be seen. 9 months on I still don't know when I will be seen. I feel desperate, and this is causing me on-going worry.

Seen quickly and prompt results

I recently had an MRI on my knee at Solihull hospital. Parking was easy with plenty of disabled bays close to the outpatient department. I was not waiting long and when I was seen the staff were lovely. I received the result quickly via post. Overall very happy.

Excellent care during my treatment here. I have visited over 12 times, I am never waiting too long, the staff are friendly and helpful. The department communicates well sending me regular appointment dates.

MRI results took 6 months

I had an MRI at Solihull Hospital and it took six months for me to get the results. I was told that I needed a follow up appointment which was never made. I chased this up and a telephone appointment was arranged then cancelled. I'm still waiting and this has been going on for nearly two years now.

Excellent outpatient experience

I was seen by the outpatient department for problems with my knee. I did not wait long for the referral appointment to come through. Treatment was prompt and staff were great. Diagnosis and treatment options were well communicated to me by staff.

Excellent care from Gynaecology department

My experience with this department has been fantastic. I have been able to get same day appointments when needed. The consultants and nurses are outstanding, communicate well and I have always been treated with care.

Disruption on ward caused by other patients

I was an inpatient and treated for prolapse surgery. Care and treatment were very good. What ruined the experience was the way that other patients disrupted the ward. They were very rude and abusive to staff, and when they had visitors they also caused disruption and behaved in the same manner. It was a very unpleasant experience when trying to rest and recover.
