I wish things would go back to normal

I wish everything would go back to how they use to be, when you could just phone up and get an appointment to see a doctor face to face. I waited so long on the phone to get an appointment, I then had to book two appointments because I needed to discuss two things and it has meant that I have to come at two separate times for two separate appointments. The doctors are very good.

The service here is very god, it's just hard to get an appointment. The phonelines are too busy. Once seen, the service is always good and the doctors are great.

The surgery is very good, I have been a patient here for years. The main doctor is excellent but it can be hard to get an appointment with him, but to be honest they are all very good.

The surgery is better now as I just could not get an appointment before. I was recently sent an asthma review questionnaire which I found a bit confusing. I have been told that the doctors can not do anything more to help me and that I must make contact with the hospital.
Hard to get appointments but not impossible

I have only recently moved to the area and registered as a patient here. It is a mad rush in the morning to get through on the phonelines and book an appointment and it can take some time to get through. That said I have managed to get an appointment on the three occasions I have needed to see a doctor.
No complaints at all!

I find the reception staff very friendly and helpful, they do their very best to get you in when you need to be seen. The doctors are great. The surgery have been very good in caring for me in my recovery from injuries sustained in a recent accident.

I do not use the surgery often, I find the service ok. It is sometimes hard to get an appointment but I have found that this has got better recently. I had to wait a few days for my most recent appointment. The doctors are good, but you never see the same doctors, which is to be expected the way things are now.

They have improved recently and it really did need improving. I still find it impossible to book an appointment via the telephone but I have been attending the surgery in person to get an appointment. An online system would be much easier but I understand why they cannot adopt this system. The doctors are great, and all staff are friendly and helpful. I do feel that an increase in staff numbers would improve the service further.
It's very hard to get an appointment

It is very hard to get an appointment. Getting through on the phone is impossible. I have to leave home at 8am to queue from 8.30am and getting an appointment is still not guaranteed. It can be difficult to get there and queue as I am in my late 80s.
In and out in 5 minutes

I had an appointment for aortic aneurysm screening, a service that for all males over the age of 60. I arrived early and was seen straight away. I had the scan and was told the results were fine. I was in and out in 5 minutes.
