Access to appointment is difficult

I have mixed feelings about my surgery, sometimes its soo difficult to even speak with anyone or get any information regarding my health condition. And at times it totally great, I get to see the doctor and do all my blood test.
The lack of communication for my test results

For me, it is the fact that I have to chase up my test results and to wait for any information about my results.
Friendly and efficient staff

I find it easy to get appointment after I had serious health problems in the past. Now they have realized that it can cost a life if they don't do the right thing. I can understand that the NHS is under pressure but some of us have complex health needs.
Difficult to access services

The surgery is now linked with one in Knowle but I would not be able to get their for an appointment as its too far to travel. The surgery is ok if you can get through and actually get an appointments. The phone lines are always busy. When you do get through receptionists ask a lot of questions which can feel intrusive.
Waiting to see the doctor take so long

I have to wait a long time for my routine appointments and if I need to see the doctor urgently they find a way to fit me in, unless I say am dying then they quickly find appointment for me.
Poor communication with service users

I feel anxious every time I need to contact the GP. I have had nasty responses from receptionists in the past and they do not even try to help with enquiries.
Prescriptions wrong every month, some reception

For 2 years plus they get my husband's scripts wrong every month. GPs don't call when you have an appt booked and when they do, they call the wrong number. They are just incompetent and unhelpful.
Brilliant online service

The surgery has been brilliant for me and my family. I have used the online service which is very quick and helpful. I booked a nurse is she contacted me on the same day. Also, for my kids it was straight away from online to face-to-face with the doctor

The online services are excellent, and I use them out of sheer frustration trying to phone the surgery and I had to wait for so long.
Long time until appointment and staff sound drained

Tried to ring doctors to get an appointment and they said the closest appointment to see them was 14th September. I also needed to do a repeat prescription and was on the phone waiting for them to answer for nearly 2 hours. The staff sound drained.
