Hobs Moat Medical Centre

It is impossible to get appointments over the phone so I have to go down and queue.

My experience of Hobs Moat Surgery has been very good. I feel supported with my long term condition and if I need an appointment I can access them with ease.

Hobs Moat Medical Centre are simply just slow! Its hard to get an appointment, then waiting times are slow and the doctors are slow in treating you or referring you on. It's very frustrating!

I have only had one appointment with my community midwife at my GP surgery so far, and unfortunately she was absent and I met a cover midwife. The midwife was nice but it would be nice to meet the midwife who will be most involved in my care during my pregnancy.

The doctors are good but it is hard to get an appointment. The phone lines are impossible to get through and I have to go and queue in my mobility scooter. I have recently had problems getting my repeat prescription.

There seems to be a problem with organisation and communication. The staff, including doctors never seem to know what's going on. Maybe they do not read through medical notes and communication from other providers about their patients. It is very frustrating when you get an appointment and the doctor doesn't know what is going on. You waste most of the appointment telling them things that should already be in their records. It does not surprise me that they have lots of bad reviews. They really need to improve their service.

The service here is alright when you can get an appointment. It is just so difficult to get an appointment, things need to improve.

It is very difficult to get an appointment, and when you do get one they mainly offer telephone appointments. I have had problems with my PIP claim due to the doctors not supplying the correct information which has had a detrimental impact on my wellbeing and income. A very disappointing service.

I visited Hobs Moat Medical Centre approximately 6 to 8 weeks ago, when I was told they would refer me for physio. To date I have not heard anything about physio and I have been unable to get another doctors appointment or get them to chase it up.

The service is good here so I don't mind the travel. I came in as an emergency appointment. I don't usually go to the GP much.
