I am sorry that you feel patients who walk in for door opening at 8am have a greater advantage when booking on the day appointments. Along with our patient participation group and a survey we undertook about 18 months ago, we decided to retain this as an option for appointment bookings. Those on the way to work find it convenient. However, we also offer same day appointments from 7am via our booking app. We try and understand that not all options of booking appointments suit all patients and we have no wish to disadvantage those who might not be so digitally connected as others. We offer as many options as we can including email, via our app, via an on line account, telephone and through our web chat facility.
We also offer appointments at our local extended hours hub based at Richmond Road available until 8pm weekdays and both Saturday and Sunday mornings.
