Phone system horrific, no appointments

Put aside an entire morning if you want to get through the phone system. The "updated" system doesn't work either. Minimum I've spent on the phone waiting to speak to someone - 45min. Longest? 2.5hours. Unfortunately, when you are eventually through, one receptionist can be quite brusque (the other is nice). As a result, nigh impossible to get an appointment for anything routine. They say that there is online booking, but that has been down since the beginning of Covid with no sign of it coming back online and their system doesn't even link to the NHS App. Despite all of this, once you're in with a doctor, they give fantastic treatment. Absolutely no issues with the doctors at all, it is just an absolute mission to get through to them.
Very difficult to get messages past on

Tried to get messages past on to nurse, Receptionist say they have, then no loutcome as they haven't. Waited for repeat prescriptions only to find hasn't been processed and not informed. Some Receptionist are rude and not approachable, which isn't acceptable when you are poorly. Some doctors have 'no bedside manner'. Never speak to same doctor.
