Waiting time for appointment
October 25, 2022
Not really good to me. I keep calling and waiting in a queue for hours and to be told there are no appointments left. I call at 8am and I am number 42 in the queue. It's silly and a waste of my time. I paid for a private appointment in the end to get diagnosed.
Cannot see the doctor for my child
October 21, 2022
My son has been diagnosed with autism and I went to the GP for support for him. They simply told me there was nothing they could do. I was surprised and shocked. I went to see the NHS clinical team, and they have been wonderful.
Cannot get appointments when required
October 20, 2022
I have not seen a Dr in 3 years.
I had got chest infection. I phoned up the surgery to make an appointment. When I managed to get an appointment, it was with the nurse and not the Dr.
I am supposed to have blood tests every 6 months. I have not had a blood test in 2 years.
I have only received reviews for my medications.
As you cannot get appointments when it is required when you contact them by phone, I now have the surgery app which I tend to use now.
Everything has gone back normal since Covid and everyone is now working apart from the GP.
Drs I have not seen and when you do need to see them everything is done over the phone. It is almost like the Drs do not want public contact. Nurses that I have seen so far are fine.

Not able to register with GP since coming out of prison
September 28, 2022
Before covid, I called to see the doctor and I was told to come in three weeks time. Unfortunately I went to prison and when I came out of prison, I was not sure if I still had the same GP or if I had to register another one. I called them to enquire about it and I was told I was not on the system. I tried to reregister but they refused me. So I am wondering if I still have a GP.
GP caused a delay in my housing application
September 28, 2022
The GP does not work for me, when I needed my medical record for my housing application, they never gave me access to it and I had to pay extra money for it. This caused a delay in my housing application to move forward.
Doctor keeps delaying potential referral
September 21, 2022
My son is autistic and I told the GP to refer him to paediatric care because it seemed reasonable. Every time I raised this up with the GP they tell me they will look into it. It has been more than 3 years. I have asked the social worker to intervene but still not sorted. When my son is feeling unwell I have to take him to A&E.
I cannot get appointment
September 21, 2022
It is hard to get appointment for anything, I was doing fitness classes and I damaged my shoulder. I have called and complained to the receptionist and till now all I have been told is to take paracetamol. Not just my shoulders but my I do have concerns about my health and I wish to see the GP for further investigations.
Left without insulin for 3 days

I have a long term condition, diabetes. I have to call for my medication and I feel anxious to call because the receptionist responses are very rude and inconsiderate. I was left without insulin for 3 days because I was terrified to call the GP.
Receptionist was unhelpful

Waiting to see the doctor and medication

It took me 4 weeks before seeing my GP after I came home from hospital after an operation on my stomach, no concern for their patients wellbeing.
