Waiting to see the doctor face to face
November 21, 2022
For 2 years I have been waiting to see the doctor, it has only been phone consultations and online service. At times the receptionist doesn't give me the exact time the doctor will call me, so I don't get any call at all. The nurse will call me, and she will tell me to come in, then a day before I get a message which says appointment cancelled.
Really hard to get appointments

Really hard to get appointments. Communication over the phone mainly by the receptionist is poor.
Nightmare trying to get appointments
November 15, 2022
Trying to get appointments is really difficult.
I haven't seen a Dr face to face for a long time as they tend to provide more call back.
Receptionists are ok, they tend to get frustrated sometimes.
My wife & son are asthmatic, so they receive their regular prescriptions
They get their regular reviews with the nurses which is about every 6 months.

The doctors are very good

The doctors at the surgery are very good.
The other staffs are rude.
They said "someone calls every time when we are on the phone"
When you go for face-to-face appointments, the staffs are ok.
They do help a lot.

Certificate for my PIP
November 7, 2022
I have a long-standing mental health illness and I needed a medical certificate from my GP for my PIP application. The receptionist was rude and nasty to me. I could not get a face-to-face appointment with the doctor for 6 weeks because I did not have any urgent medical care. This went on for a while before I walked into the surgery and started shouting to be seen.
The poor communication between staff
November 7, 2022
I have a problem with the staff and how they miss information because they do not communicate properly with each other. I have wrong medicines and wrong test results due to poor communication.
Difficult to get appointment for blood test
October 25, 2022
I have high blood pressure and I need to get monthly blood test for my medication, I have to call every time to ask for appointment and then I am told there are no appointments. The receptionists are quick to tell me that if it was important the appointment will come through automatically. I never get anything done if I don't demand it.
Waiting time for appointment
October 25, 2022
Not really good to me. I keep calling and waiting in a queue for hours and to be told there are no appointments left. I call at 8am and I am number 42 in the queue. It's silly and a waste of my time. I paid for a private appointment in the end to get diagnosed.
Cannot see the doctor for my child
October 21, 2022
My son has been diagnosed with autism and I went to the GP for support for him. They simply told me there was nothing they could do. I was surprised and shocked. I went to see the NHS clinical team, and they have been wonderful.
Cannot get appointments when required
October 20, 2022
I have not seen a Dr in 3 years.
I had got chest infection. I phoned up the surgery to make an appointment. When I managed to get an appointment, it was with the nurse and not the Dr.
I am supposed to have blood tests every 6 months. I have not had a blood test in 2 years.
I have only received reviews for my medications.
As you cannot get appointments when it is required when you contact them by phone, I now have the surgery app which I tend to use now.
Everything has gone back normal since Covid and everyone is now working apart from the GP.
Drs I have not seen and when you do need to see them everything is done over the phone. It is almost like the Drs do not want public contact. Nurses that I have seen so far are fine.
