UHB Heartlands Hospital

I do not like to go to Heartlands hospital due to mother in law passing away their. There is cleanliness issues. My mother in law was submitted in that hospital after having an operation and due to poor safety and hygiene precautions she caught MRSA which resulted her in passing away.

Was supposed to have a MRI at the hospital, Letter received advises not to eat or drink any caffeinated drinks. So I had a def caffeinated drink instead. When I got their they advised me they could not proceed with my appointment and denied after waiting 2 hours because I had decaffeinated drink.
Son had to contact the manager to complain who advised that they would make changes to their correspondence letter. The letter is still the same not making it clear that no caffeinated drinks to be drank.

Went to hospital with broken foot 9 weeks ago. The care experience was very good and the service they provided was fantastic.

I use most of the time Heartland hospital. Its best hospital and really good service.

Great experience and after care.

Send residents in for check-ups is a little difficult. Sometimes some patients have to cancel their appointment

Went to A&E in Heartlands. Took 9 hours before I was seen by a doctor.
Not many doctors on duty that day.

Very long waiting times but when you get to see consultant they provide good care within the A&E

I went to A&E because of continuous nose bleeding, they did not assess me properly and I went home and it started again.

I went to the A& at heartlands hospital and the receptionist lost the forms I filled in and I was not called up, I went to ask and they told me they did not have my forms. The reception was being rude and disrespectful. The doctors where lovely.

My father waited for four hours in the ambulance outside the A&E before being looked after. He fell and we waited an hour before the paramedics came to the house to see him.
