The Castle Practice

Castle practice need to introduce “perform” method way of working, some of the rules are ridiculous why can’t your order a prescription over the phone???

Havent seen a doctor at Castle Practice but have found the nurses, nurse practitioners and reception staff always kind and helpful. Have had a phone call from a doctor and likewise she was really helpful and went above and beyond

Sometimes they are excellent with top class service and sometimes it's like wading through treacle to get any help. I think there is definitely room for improvement.

The Castle Practice are difficult to get through to on the phone, they won't see patients face to face and they are too quick to prescribe medications without a proper assessment. When I would have tried to get an appointment before 2020, I now avoid calling completely. I would rather call 111. Not fit for purpose

Admin staff are friendly and helpful and I've never had trouble getting through or speaking to a doctor

Order a repeat prescription, receptionist decides your not due one. Decided she didn’t realise my dosage and yes did need prescription but would have to wait 3 days because she hadn’t put my original request through. Since when did a receptionist decide your dosage of medication ???? Can never get through on phone, can never get an appointment. Even worse since pandemic, doctors don’t even see the patients !!!! So angry with the service received from this practice!!!!!

The phone lines are always busy , the queues cut off at certain number so it basically hangs up on you. The doctors rush you off the phone if you are lucky enough to get an appointment and then are rude.

Castle practice is definitely by far one of the best doc's I've ever had. Always get me in and look after me to so thanks again and well done.

Have always spoken to reception and able to get an appt with GP when needed.
