Drs don’t rush you

Advance booking for appointments is not possible and patients are told to phone at 8.30am. This isn't always practical.

still unable to get appointments and no chance of seeing a doctor face to face, dont know how they can treat people when not even seeing them

Throughout the pandemic Dr Chitnis has been absolutely fantastic with both mine but especially my husbands sudden medical needs. Nothing has been too much trouble for him - he genuinely cares and we trust him. The reception staff have also been amazing in getting our needs met with other health professionals. Thank you so much.

To get a face to face appointment you have to wait o the phone for a long time to be trialed and given a phone consultation before the doctor decides if they need to see you.
One phone appointment I was told to increase a tablet to 6 times my daily dose which I questioned and the doctor backtracked. I emailed the practice manager to review the call to which I didn't get any response.
On a second call (on a Wednesday) a doctor asked why I was worried about not being able additional antibiotics at the weekend as it was only monday!

Some great GPS and staff. Only issue is getting through in the mornings

Too hard to see a doctor. All doctors should be offering face to face now.

Tried to get face to face appt. Had to call at surgery to make appt. To be assessed then told phone consultation.

I have been a patient at this practice for over 20 years. The older gps are retiring and the newer GPs are excellent. Namely Dr Illyas and Dr Akhtar who have done more to help with my issues and actually gave a correct diagnosis after many years back and forth 2 older GPs. Dr [name] quite frankly needs to retire. Supposed to be a menopause "specialist " but had absolutely no idea.

Dr Illyas is both knowledgeable and compassionate. She actually listens to you and ive been so grateful for her help

Prior to Cover 2nd to none. I understand since lockdown it has been difficult to get a face to face appt. However we have been able to book and have a conversation with a Dr on the day we telephoned to get treatment etc.
